ATTENTION MEMBERS: NAME THE HORSES CONTEST.
The contest to choose the official Jockey Club racing names for the 3 horses is now open to all members of the 5R Racehorse Stable Series 1 who have joined as of the record date September 15, 2010.
Rules:
Each member may submit one name for each horse to office@5rstables.com
The cutoff date for submissions is September 15, 2010
On September 16th, a list of all of the names submitted will be returned to all members who participated to vote on their favorite name. The final names are to be submitted to the Jockey Club for the registry approval. For more information about how the naming process works or to verify that your name has not already been reserved for another horse by the Jockey Club, you go to the Jockey Club’s name database: just click the Jockey Club icon below (log on is not necessary):
We will announce the winning names and the winners of the contest on October 2, 2010 which is the day of the Jockey Club Gold Cup race at Belmont Park. We hope to have as many members present as possible. Believe you me it will be quite a celebration. If we can work out the logistics we want to do this live through streaming video on the internet.
Sean Kerr will not be participating in the contest other than as moderator and administrator of the contest. The opportunity to choose the horses Jockey Club racing names is the stable’s gift to all of the members who have graciously supported us.
